Game Developer/Programmer
Come2Play is looking for an experienced Game Developer to join our flash development team. You will be responsible for the development and design of our newest flash based multiplayer games using Adobe Flash. Qualified candidates will have experience in game design practices and overall game development.
As a Game Developer you will be involved in the entire game development process from design concept to release and therefore have a strong influence on the overall product. We are looking for people who are solution oriented, goal driven and look at technology as a tool to achieve an entertaining result.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Development of new multiplayer games and related features
- Contribute to the evolvement of our existing games
- Detail orientated design documentation throughout the project cycle
- Pitch new ideas to the team/ hold brainstorming sessions
- Ability to describe user experience stories and create wireframe screens and flows
- Community awareness with new technologies, frameworks, resources and open source libraries
- Expert level knowledge of ActionScript 3 and Flash Builder 4
- Flash game development experience
- Knowledge of CPU / memory optimization, Javascript / Flash bridging, Cross-browser compatibility, Flex, AIR is a plus
- Experience or knowledge of traditional board game, card game, or dice game design
- Solid understanding of algorithms, physics and math
- A natural feeling for and understanding of good game play mechanics
- A wish to learn and share knowledge and experience with other team members
- Relevant game development and/or demo-scene experience is a plus
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Passionate about games and playing games!
